Wisdom Properties is delighted that Gaga Newburn has join the San Diego real estate firm as a Licensed Sales Associate.

Dragana (which means Dear Ana in Serbian) goes by popular nickname “Gaga”.

She previously owned her own business in Serbia for 8 years as the executive leader and sales manager of an international freight forwarding agency, handling logistics, international shipping, customs brokering and efficient cost savings export/import for clients. Gaga’s specialty was incorporating complicated customs laws into contracts, international business requirements and worked at a dynamic tempo with pleasant communication and effective negotiation.  

Prior to owning her own company, she held similar responsibilities for 3 years at Noble Environmental/ECOR, headquartered in the United States, with production in Serbia. 

She met her husband, San Diegan, Tim Newburn, while he was working for ECOR in Serbia and they married four years ago, followed by moving back to San Diego full time two years ago. Tim is a highly regarded developer and contractor from La Jolla who has built projects around the world, which gives Gaga an “in-house” construction and building expert to provide client advice as part of her services.

Gaga loves to travel, particularly to Indonesia, (the island of Rote, West Timor) near Bali, at their family’s surf resort and to Serbia to visit her family.  She is a Salsa Dancer and managed a dancing school .  She’s organized music festivals, volunteers at the Old Globe, and takes Improv Comedy classes. She is quite the cook with her specialty being Tiramisu.   

Her love of real estate is enhanced by her European background and interest in historical architecture and interior design.
