Rosie Gross
Rosie Gross was born in La Jolla, California, and proudly calls herself a California native. Her family's move to the Golden State is one of serendipity—her dad, eager to escape the Midwestern weather and to find new, creative career opportunities, brought the family to San Diego, where her parents bought, remodeled and sold numerous fixer homes throughout her childhood.
When Rosie was 8 years old, her mom spotted an ad for a home for sale in Rancho Santa Fe. Despite the run-down condition of the property, it was the 2nd oldest house in RSF next to The Osuna Ranch, her parents were guided by the timeless adage, "Location, Location, Location," and made the purchase. That summer, while the family traveled to Indiana, her dad worked tirelessly to remodel the home. By the time they returned, it was transformed—into an expanded dream home, a beautiful blend of charm and historical integrity. This was a pivotal moment, fueling Rosie's love for real estate and design.
As her family’s passion for remodeling and real estate grew, it felt like a natural step for Rosie to pursue her own career in the industry. With a real estate license in hand, she dove into the world of new home sales and eventually expanded to traditional home sales. Being one of the first Realtors who understood the value of marketing and merchandising, over the years, Rosie has bought, remodeled, staged, and sold countless properties, always finding great joy in matching clients with their perfect homes.
One of her most rewarding real estate projects is the recent completion of a storybook stone cottage on her family’s 200 acre farm in Indiana, which has been in her family for seven generations. The original brick farm house built in 1835, has been fully restored and is on the National Register of Historic Places, with the bricks made on-site and all the hand-hewn beams coming from the woods on the property. This personal dream project, set in the lush, wooded landscape, and nearby lake, reflects Rosie's deep connection to both real estate and the natural beauty of her surroundings and gives a nod to her family legacy.
Rosie has a profound love for animals. She’s actively involved in fostering, volunteering at adoption events, and donating to animal charities. She believes that everyone deserves a home—and that includes every animal. Helping clients find the perfect home brings her immense joy, knowing that it’s more than just a property—it’s a place where memories are made and lives are enriched.
Beyond her professional real estate achievements and multiple awards, Rosie has a vast wealth of experience of selling hundreds of homes locally, a deep love for the process, and a strong desire to help people find their perfect place, Rosie continues to find fulfillment in every sale and every relationship she builds along the way. Her reputation for integrity in the industry is stellar and her instinct for a good buy is unmatched!
